The Cassis interior design project was tailored for a young, creative couple living in a 74 sq m apartment within an old tenement building in Krakow. the clients wanted to capture the authentic atmosphere and historical spirit of the traditional "kamienica" building, while infusing the space with a modern, relevant sensibility.
We aimed to recreate the feel of an old Krakow apartment through the use of vintage elements. A classic parquet wood floor, ornate dining chairs, and a patterned cabinet door evoke a sense of timeless elegance. at the same time, contemporary pieces like a Vitra Akari lighting fixture, metal side tables, and a 101 Copenhagen armchair introduce a sleek, modern twist.
